Green Tree Saturday at PNC Park

The Pirates take on the Arizona Diamondbacks on June 23. Join your Green Tree friends and neighbors for a great day at the ballpark! Start with a delicious cookout at Green Tree Park where you can park your car during the game. There will be raffles and prizes at the cookout too. The bus will board at 2:45 (transportation included in ticket price for GT residents or $5 for non-residents) from Green Tree Park to PNC Park, where the first 20,000 fans who enter the park will receive a Sean Rodriguez bobblehead!

Register at the Green Tree Administrative Office. Groups who wish to sit together should purchase their tickets at the same time. Game tickets will be distributed at the cookout. If you do not intend to attend the cookout, please let the office know in advance so that alternate arrangements can be made beforehand to pick up your tickets.

Fourth of July Celebration

Celebrate Independence Day with us! Music, swimming, All-American cookout, and fun with friends and family! The celebration begins with Opening Ceremonies by the American Legion Post #823. Grab a great poolside cookout, play corn hole, get your face painted, sun by the pool, swim, or socialize under our tents. There will be inflatables and a dunk tank for the kids. No pool passes needed for this annual community event. Lunch $7/adults and $4/children. Join us!

Note: Wilson Park Pool closes at 5:00 p.m. on the 4th of July.

Green Tree honors its greatest residents – its senior citizens – with a FREE indoor picnic on Sunday, July 29 ($5 for non-resident friends). However, you MUST preregister at the Green Tree Administrative Office. Deadline to register is Monday, July 23 at 4:00 p.m. (so we know how much food to order!)

The picnic includes a catered lunch by Manny’s Rook Station, yummy desserts, beverages, and a coffee bar. Entertainment provided by Bob-All Pro DJ, with a fun photo booth with free photos for all. We’ll have raffles with great prizes capping off the event.

The entire Green Tree Senior Citizens Picnic takes place in the climate-controlled Green Tree Municipal Center, so make plans to come rain or shine! Don’t forget to register!
