The Society for Education Environmental Development (S.E.E.D.) helps maintain and preserve the Green Tree Nature Center, 18 unspoiled acres of natural preserve, in the middle of suburban Green Tree. The Nature Center has walking paths for visitors to enjoy a vast array of flora and fauna, including almost every type of tree native to Pennsylvania.

Contact S.E.E.D. through the Green Tree Administrative Office (412-921-1110). Meetings are held, as needed. If you are interested in learning more about this ecologically-minded group who helps preserve and maintain the Green Tree Nature Center, contact the Borough Office who will put you in touch with a S.E.E.D. representative. If your group or organization would like a guided tour through the Green Tree Nature Center, please contact S.E.E.D. through the Borough Office (listed above).
