Traffic Advisory Board

trafficThe Traffic Advisory Board (TAB) is an ad hoc committee of Council that reviews traffic issues and problems in Green Tree Borough and makes recommendations to Council regarding possible action. This allows Green Tree Borough to have greater ability to thoroughly review traffic issues.

The board consists of seven (7) Green Tree residents. Members are:

Jeff Sterling, Chairman
Bob Bartell
Diane Coombs
John Keptner
Ed McGovern
David Rea
Kevin Wheeler

The Traffic Advisory Board meets as needed on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Check the Calendar of Events for an up-to-date listing of TAB meetings. Agendas for these meetings are posted on the web site the weekend prior to the meeting and meetings are open to the public.

Traffic issues should be directed to the Traffic Advisory Board in writing, by contacting the Green Tree Municipal Center Office at 10 West Manilla Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15220, 412-921-1110, or by e-mailing the board directly at trafficadvisoryboard@greentreeboro.com.

The Traffic Advisory Board has recommended the purchase and sale of Kid Alert! safety signs to interested residents who wish to alert vehicles of areas where children are at play. These signs are $15 each and available at the Municipal Center Office. Stop by and pick one up at 10 W. Manilla Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15220.
