Light-up Green Tree
Light Up Green Tree is a celebration you will not want to miss and is held at the Municipal Center. Come prepared to sing carols, drink hot chocolate, eat a snack, and meet Santa while chatting with your neighbors. It’s always a great evening of fun organized by the volunteer Recreation & Community Activities Board and a great way to kick off the holiday season. Come hungry, there will be hot dogs, s'mores, popcorn, and hot chocolate (while supplies last).

2023 Light Up Green Tree
| Words cannot express how grateful Green Tree Borough is for the hard work and commitment Jen Mathie and the Recreation & Community Activities Board gives to the community. Jen brings resilience, experience, knowledge and critical thinking to each event and with the help of the Recreation & Community Activities Board member volunteers (Christine Short, Jill Folkmire, Luanne Jones, Jen Sakulsky, Samantha Salapek, Linda Lester, Dan Gall, CJ Martorella), they have fulfilled our mission to create a memorable Light Up Green Tree family celebration! Special thanks to the Public Works Department's hard work and tolerance of winds and cold temperatures putting up the lights and tents and providing well kept Borough grounds! The Borough greatly appreciates Paul Lanko for the train display, Brutus Monroe for holiday craft and hot chocolate, the special musical performances by KO Elementary Musical group and Guardian angel Academy Children's Choir, for the Green Tree Public Library/Green Tree Volunteer Fire Company/Green Tree Police Department/Borough Council/Mayor for always being a supportive presence for this event, the beautiful decorations by the Green Tree Garden Club, and last but not least Mr. and Mrs. Claus whose presence brings a sparkle to everyone's eyes. |
